Soon, Youtube will demonstrate 4K video at the International CES show as it moves forward with offering next-generation video. Youtube will be serving 4K in a new format called VP9 which consumes considerably less data than other commercial codecs. This will let the service stream higher-quality streams with less bandwidth making Google Hangouts a better experience than before.
