best social media job profiles

 We have been hearing about the hype and influence of social media over and over again. People from all over the world are realizing the impact the medium has on them. We are so lured towards it that keeping away from it for days together seems to be tough. So people have come up with new ways of staying hooked to the social media domain.
Now-a-days many people are opting for jobs in the social media domain. To top it, these jobs are lucrative and offer people with such incentives that they are quite sought after. This particular domain has a long and shining future, it pays well  and people find it interesting to earn a livelihood by staying online the whole day.
When we realized the success rate of social media jobs we did an analysis on best job profiles in this field. We were not surprised to know that most of the jobs were pertaining to the marketing sector on this domain. There were many job profiles but the following stood out from the rest;
1.   Social Media Strategist
This is one person who handles the account of the brands on the social media. It is his work to maintain a proper page and ensure that interaction on all pages take place. Content management and an overall functioning on the medium is essential. He is the one who allocates resources and should have great communication skills. This is one of the most important and popular  job profile in this sector.
2.   Copywriter
This is one job profile that is in high demand in the current scenario. All companies and brands desire to hire a copywriter, one who can produce quality content and has the knowledge of blogs and posts on the social media. Although the profile requires no formal qualifications it is important that the candidate has a command over the language he is supposed to write in and is well aware of the style of writing that attracts people on the web.
3.   PR Manager
PR stands for Public Relations. As the name suggests, it is aimed at maintaining a good image and a reputation of the brand online. The main task of a PR Manager is to look out for interesting and innovative ways to seed audience and keep them intrigued. Basically the candidate has to create a buzz for the brand being promoted and try increasing the traffic on the brand’s page on the web.
 4.   Freelancer
As any other freelancer, he is a person who is not employed by any organisation and works independently. This candidate outsources by himself.  Now-a-days companies and looking for more and more freelancers to help market their product on the domain. Many more freelancers are working as interns with companies to build a valuable experience in this field. He can be a strategist, a copywriter or a manager, he selects only those projects that personally interest him and those which he feels he will be able to do.
5.   Community Manager
This is one profile that requires proper managerial skills as he is supposed to monitor the web for all comments and posts made in lieu of a particular brand and maintain the brand’s targeted community. He is expected to manage any kind of problems that may arise and he should be research driven. The work that comes within his profile is more data based and requires him to be organised and intelligent while dealing with clients/users.
There are tons of social media jobs available and people are bagging the opportunities as fast as they can. These have a long term promise, social media will continue to prosper and so will the people attached to it in the times to come.
