MLK day’s social media fiasco

There is nothing new in brands using the memories of special days for their marketing practices. SpheggatiO’s used the tragic pearl harbour disaster in a dubious tweet that raised a concern on the social media. This time its ZzzQuil, an over-the-counter cold medication/soporific from Vicks that used a tweet on the Martin Luther King day to market the brand.
